STARLIT AUTOCHROME. Final thesis work by JACK DAVIS for McMaster University Multimedia and Communication program.
2022
An interactive audio-visual art installation, exhibited for two weeks at the BLACK BOX THEATRE.
As visitors step into the range of the artwork, their movements influence the audio and visual results of the work. These interactions are stacked, meaning the outcome is never the same. The result is a mosaic of interaction, forming a collaborative autochrome.
This installation is composed of laser projections, a 12 point sound system, TouchDesigner, and camera inputs.
